This innovative noise barrier combines a low wall design with a weather-resistant steel diffuser, resulting in significant noise reduction without compromising the view for residents and travelers.

As part of the ILENA program by German railway operator Deutsche Bahn, we started a pilot project near Munich, installing 150 meters of WHIS®wall along the railway in November 2019.

This location in Langenbach aligns with our ambition to provide sustainable and effective noise reduction solutions for busy railway corridors in Germany. Through this pilot, we aim to demonstrate that the WHIS®wall can be an innovative addition to existing noise barrier solutions.
