This cutting-edge noise solution from 4Silence combines a low-height noise barrier with a corten steel diffractor, achieving a sound reduction of 7 to 9 dB—equivalent to a traditional 3-meter-high barrier. Thanks to its modest height of only 1 meter, the WHIS®wall preserves views for both residents and road users, improving public acceptance in urban environments.
Efficient Installation and Sustainable Design
The WHIS®wall in Euskirchen was installed quickly and efficiently, with a production capacity of up to 300 meters per day. The construction only requires a flat and stable surface, eliminating the need for deep foundations. Moreover, the wall is virtually maintenance-free, needing just one inspection every two years.
